Well, I lost my wallet not to long ago, and my Social Security card as well as my ID where in it... Oh, and 10 bucks.
I'm really pissed about the 10 bucks! :p
I can't get a new ID without an SS card, and I can't get an SS card without a bunch of identifications that I don't have on me right now.
I can't get a job without either.
This is a major step back. I had planned to have a stable job by now, but nothing ever goes the way I expect, and I'm starting to expect that.
It seems that life keeps throwing obstacles in my way. I feel like I'm on an obstacle course. All my friends seem to be ahead of me, and the clock is ticking down.
Someone told me that I shouldn't rate my success to someone else's, and perhaps she's right. Everyone else seems to compare the success of one thing to another whether it be movies, games, books, bands, ext. It may not be right, but it does look like that's the way the world works.
I want to keep up in this world, and I want to belong. It feels like I'm just surviving most of the time, and not living.
Looks like I need to turn things up a notch.

As I write this, fireworks, (and who knows what else) are going off right outside my window. I watched the ball drop alone this year, but I didn't feel alone.
Like Dick so brilliantly put it, "There's happiness in the air." I watched the ball slowly drop only five minutes ago, and the fireworks are still going off outside...
There's a certain vibe you get this time every year. I can't explain it, but it's truly magical.
The only thing that I hope for, is that this year will be better, and more peaceful than the last.
Hope might get us nowhere, but it's a start.
I'm going to enjoy tomorrow. (Today I should say.) I've got a trip to China Buffet to look forward to, and after that where going to rent some movies and games.
Did anyone else watch the MTV Pajama Party? I've been flipping between NBC and MTV, and the Foo Fighters where awesome!
Well, it's almost 12:30. I guess I better post this, before my computer crashes.
Have a happy and peaceful New Year, everyone!

Here are my top ten resolutions for 2003:
1. Get all my identifications back. (More on that later.)
2. Find a stable job.
3. Actually save my money, instead of blowing it all on ebay...
4. Finally get that SUV that I've had my eyes on.
5. Kiss an Eskimo.
5. OK, for real though... Get back in the shape I was in or even better shape.
6. Upgrade to Blog*Spot Plus, and re-do my website.
7. Cut down on the smoking.
8. Meet a girl that I can get along with.
9. Try to be less lazy... If possible.
10. Finish school and take a long awaited vacation.
Happy New Years, everyone!

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I did and I don't even celebrate them. :-D
I would like to thank my friends Mom for making such a wonderful dinner. I forgot to thank her, and I feel really bad about that. I was too busy eating the best peanut butter fudge that I have ever put in my mouth. :-P I should also thank whoever made the fudge...
Anyway, I got a new stereo as an Xmas present from a family member. They know I don't celebrate Xmas, but they give me presents even though I tell them that they don't have to. I already have a stereo, but it sure looks great in the living room.
I'm kinda torn about how to use it. Should I hook it up to the DVD player or should I just use it for music? It doesn't have surround sound, but it would probably be a lot better then the standard TV speakers.
I have my PS2 hooked up to my SONY stereo in my room. It has Dolby Digital surround sound, and it's perfect for playing DVDs. The sound is soo rich, you would think you where actually there... If you didn't know any better or where just waking up while someone had it playing. (Happened once.)
I won a digital camera on eBay. I also won a media card for my MP3 player, and a USB media card reader for my computer. The person I'm getting the digital camera from has decided to go on vacation, so it might be awhile before I get that. (Probably next year.)
I also think that the media card I'm getting should be compatible with the digital camera, although it might not matter since I'll be jamming it with songs. I'll probably just get another one if I need it.
Well, I'm about to watch a little of the Call for Help-a-Thon, before I study.
Hopefully, I'll actually get my question answered on the air now...

It's one o'clock AM...
Maybe I should set the preferences back, so I won't have to tell the time every time I post...
Anyway, I just got back from The Two Towers.
I have only one thing to say about that.
Oh, and another thing...
Who in the blue hell decided that the movie should open a week before Xmas? I'm sorry, but they deserve to be smacked. :-)
Reason: I was planning on seeing the 5:30pm showing, but I wasn't able to get ready in time, and the tickets where selling out fast. So we decided to cache the 8:30pm showing.
When we got there, all the tickets where sold out for the 8:30pm showing... And we where early!
We had to get tickets for the 9:15pm showing. Luckily, there is a restaurant/buffet that was close by.
The food there is excellent. :-)
As I climbed the stairs to the second floor of the marquee, I over heard the people at the counter below. "All tickets for the 9:15 are sold out!" they said followed by many sighs, and curses.
Even as I handed them my ticket, the wait was not over. I stood in line for what seemed like an eternity, while they cleaned the theater.
It was all worth it though, and if I had to do it all over again to see that movie... I would.
After the movie (and even before) the traffic was horrible. We could barley make it in or out of the mall. I had to wait in a drive-threw for 15 minutes, to get the Dr. Pepper that I just finished now, but like I said...
Well worth it. :-)
