Holy F*cking Sh*t!

An asteroid, a really big one.... maybe a mile in size, has a small probability of hitting the Earth on February 1st 2019!

Please notice that I said, "small chance", so don't start stocking your bomb shelter's with caned food just yet.

I'll have more on this as I find thing's out.

Another asteroid passed within 75,000 miles of Earth just last month. That's less than a third of the distance to the moon.

The scarey thing about all this is the asteroid was right up on the Earth, before anyone noticed it, and some of these asteroid's go unoticed every year.

Columbus

One of the highlight's of my childhood was getting to go to Columbus every Summer. My mom used to go to convention's there, and I got to allways tag along.

One of the thing's I love about Columbus is there resteraunt's. There was this one resteraunt there that served HUGE pancake's every morning. You was considerd super human if you could eat all of them off your plate. They had closed the place down the last time I was there.

Sucks.

There was this other resteraunt that was really great. It was in the back of the convention center. I still can't remember the name of that place. I hope that place is still open. The food was great! There was allso the food coart across from the mini mall in there.

Heck. Even the Wendey's there was better. There was this one Wendey's in the Columbus zoo. It was right across from the bird cage, where they cept these giant exotic bird's. It would have been halariuse if the bird's had excaped the cage, and flew into Wendey's after the frie's, (bird's seem to love frie's) and causeing people to run for there live's. >:)

The Columbus zoo is one of the best zoo's in the world. It was the first time I got to actually see a tiger, or a Manity. When I first saw the manitie's I thought they where wale's.

They had huge aguariam's there. I actually got to pet a shark! I even got to meet a favorite of mine, the king cobra, up close, and personal. There was a water park across the street from the zoo. I didn't get to go there, because at the time I still didn't know how to swim, but I did get to play in this great fountain they had in the zoo.

I remember this science center for kids where you could pertisipate in experiment's. They had the static ball, the kind where when you touch it your hair Would stand up, a planitarium, and this car that was hooked to a beam, and on the other side of the beam there was a rope, and when you tuged on the rope you could lift the car no matter how weak you was.

One of the thing's I remember most about Columbus was there hotel's, and the one I remember most is the Hilton right across from the convention center. They had a great indoor pool, and every thing that you could prosably ask for from a hotel. They had this great little sundae bar across from the lobby where they served some of the best ice cream I've ever put in my mouth. Sadely when they remoldeld the following year, they took that place out. It's a damn shame too, but they still have a great resteraunt up on the second floor. At least they did the last time I checked. I used to watch every channle there was back then on my rooms tv. I remember the comercial they had on there public broadcasting for Columbus. There was all these people standing in this boat they have there, (I can't remember which one of Columbus's ship's it was right now.) and they where all singing "Columbuse Ohio.... It's more than you dream!" I don't know how many time's I saw that, but it kracked me up every time.

There was this walk bridge that went across the road from the second floor of the hotel to the convention center. From there you could shop eat at the food coart, or go to the convention that you are late for, because you over slept.

I've allways had alot of fun at Columbus, and saw something new every time I came back. I can't wait untill I get to go back there some day.

Update Time Again

I have to make sure something works, and in order to do that I have to post something

So disregard this post, and read the next.

Money Machine

The day I got my PS2 I played it for hour's on end. As of late there hasn't really been any good quality game's being made for it. It's just sitting there collecting dust now. The onley thing I've been using it for is a DVD player, but I payed way to much for the thing just to play my DVD's on it.

I know SONY is hard at work on there new upcomeing system the PS3, but something needs to be done about this.

I have allready beaten all the game's I own, and I'm getting rather bored of the same old game's.

I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

Warp Drive... When?

I have been facinated with the exploration of space sence I was a little brat, watching Star Trek.

I still watch it today:)

I have been wondering for a long time now about how long it will take mankind to finally "really" start exploring the galaxy.

I came across this site this morning, (Dunno how.) and I found it to be verry interesting.

The ring is working great. There's only two member's in it right now, (me included) but more should be joining by the end of the day.

Dream Job

Everybody wants one. A job where you really feel comfortable, and really take pride in you're work.

Sadly, not everyone has, or is going to ever get that kind of career. I have learned this thrue my own trail, and error's, while working, and searching for job's. The paying job that I once had made me sick.... So I quit within two week's of being hired. I think my time is worth alot more than $5.50 an hour.

Now I am looking for employment once again. This time I'm not jumping at the first opertunity to come along. I am takeing my time to search for the best job, so I won't end up quiting the day I get my first paycheck. I need to start saveing up for that nice SUV I've had my eye's on. The one with the leather interier, plenty of cargo space, CD player....

Anyway, I have noticed that most of my friend's, who have job's, really hate the hell hole they have to comute to every weekday. I remember reading this thing somewhere awhile back that.... I think it was 70% of american's hate there job.

I dunno about you, but I don't want to be that 70%. (If I guessed that right.) I have allways been the kind of person to take control over there life, and stand out. I like to be creative, and I love to entertain. I like to travle, and see new thing's, and meet new people every once, and awhile.

That's why I'm trying to start a career as an actor. I have found out over the year's that I am verry good at it, and I have a good sense of the creative prosess of acting out a charicter, so this isn't just a flew off the top of my head kinda thing. If I can not make at as an actor right away, I can allways fall back on my creative skill's as a freelance writer, and try to get a job writeing for magazine's.

When I was browsing the internet this morning I ironically enough, I ended up at the Dilbert website. Scott Adams (Creator of Dilbert) is a perfect example of someone who had a crappy job like the rest of us, and ended up doing something creative, and fun that they love to do for a living. It is possible to break free from the mold. I think you just have to find you're nack, and stick with it.

This quiz might actually be helpful if you are trying to find a better career that matches you're personality.

I hope that someday we can all be happy with the work we do. The world would be a much better place.

Burnout

The reason I haven't really been writeing anything interesting lately, (If you have been wondering.) Is Because I have been puting all my time, and energy into trying to find the right day job, and it's just burnt me out. I haven't really been able to sit down, and be my creative self.

I have way to many worries right now I guess. Nothing seems to be going my way. It's like I don't have control over anything.

I do have a shot at getting a job at K-Mart....

Ha!

I know there going bankrupt, and everything, but francly.... I just need the money. It's not like I'm makeing a career out of it:)

Anyway, I'll try to write something great by tomarow.

Now I must continue my search.

Not Perfect

Sorry about this moarning. (for all you people who read it) I Was trying to put TV listing's on here, (just for an extra feature) and I mest up some thing's pretty bad. I'm allways doing that. I try to make thing's better, and I end up makeing them worse.

It's like a curse that I've lived with my intirer life.

I think that's why most of my project's have failed so miserably.

The other day I was cleaning my room, and in the process I knocked over three cup's half full of pop. One splatered all over my bed, and it took me forever to get all the sugar (and whatever els is in Sprite) out of the fabric.

I guess that's what I get for not picking those up earlier, but it would be nice if some sertan people would drink all there soda, and throw away there cup when there done.

Anyway, the important thing is I got everything fixed the way it was, with an exception of my counter at the bottum of the page, but I didn't really need that anyway.

Damn! Damn! Damn!

I axidentally messed up my commenting system, while I was tinkering around. This post should fix that problam.

Sorry about all this, but I gotta get some sleep. Me post later.

Damn!

Aaaarrgghh!

To heck with it! Oh well. Maybee I can figure out how to get that to work right some other time.

((yawn)) (Looks at clock.)

Crap! I gotta get to bed! I'll post something great latter on today.

Updateing Again

Needed to change something.

Updateing

I'm just makeing sure something works. If it dos I'll post about it here in a few.

Just Great

Well It doesn't look like I'm going to get that job at spencers like I wanted too. There where alot of poeple who turned in application's, and I guess I just didn't make the cut....

Damnit!

I'm sick of this sh*t!

I go in, I do my best to get the job, and then they shove the application down my throat.

Oh well. I still have all those other app's I filled out, and I can allways go elswhere.

I'm just tired of this sh*t.

I mean if they needed help so damn bad, then why didn't they just start interveiwing people on the spot instead of just takeing over 100 application's, and ceeping the sighn up knowing that people would walk in thinking there going to get an honest chance at a job. This kind of sh*t makes me sick.

The last time I tryed to get a job it was the same old sh*t. There would be a big sighn on the window saying that there hirering, and when I go in to try to get the job they end up telling me that there's no opening's for me. Now honestly. What kind of BS is that?! If you're not hirering take the damn sighn out of the freakin window, and stop pissing people off!

Now I'm stuck at the bottom of the hill looking up again. I see the flag at the top, and no matter how much more bull sh*t I have to go through, I will get a day job, and I will get that car I've been wanting.

I will get that damn flag!

At The Movies

This is a link to the website of a movie theater me and my friend's go see movie's at most of the time. Allthough I like the bigger marguee a few more mile's away better, this one is easier to get to and is on a bus rout.

On the site you can take a digital tour (outside and in) of the theater.

I've spent alot of time (and money) hanging out at this place. I went to see Mr. Deeds there on the 4th. You can actually see the crapy arcade I talked about in a previuse post, and the rest of the crapy place.

It lookes alot better on the online tour. I guess they actually had to clean the place for that. :)

They even have a webcam set up takeing picture's of people running to the bathroom after trying to hold it in for too long watching a movie.... I swear! The camera is right above the bathroom. :)

Hey! You might even see me there.

Havin Fun

I had a pretty cool 4th O July. I woke up really late in the day and I didn't think I was gonna be able to go see a movie like I hade planned, but there was at least two more showing's of Mr. Deeds. That movie was great! It cheered me up all day.

Then we (Me and my friend's) called my mom and had here come and pick us up, because the bus wasn't running. When she got there we headed for Wendey's to chow down. On the way there it was allready late so people where letting off fireworks. You could tell most of them where eligal but there funner to watch then sparkler's. :)

When we got to the Wendey's drive thrue there was alot of confushion over the order's because there was 4 people in the car and none of them planned out what they wanted in advance.

Then we went to Blockbuster to take back K-PAX and get one that worked, but of course everyone had allready rented them out. I wanted to rent this PS2 game, but it was out to. It was garunteed in stock or it would be free next time so I get a free game rental next time and I have credit for K-PAX so all is well.

My friend rented Way Of The Samuri for PS2 and we went over to his house to play it and hang out. He hase allready beat it, but there's diferent ending's to it depending on what you do in the game.

Oh yeah on the way to my friend's house we got to see the big fireworkd display they have here. I didn't get to let any off, but I didn't get to see the big one's last year so it evens it out.

Well. That's about all that happend, that's worth writeing about.

So what did you do this year? Tell me in the comments on this post.

I hope everyone had a great 4th O July. I had a pretty cool one and I'll write about it later, but right now I want to test out my new commenting system from YACCS. I had to get up pretty early to become a member (They onley except 25 members a day starting at 6am.) and I'm about to go back to bed as soon as I make sure it's working ok.

If you're a reader of this blog please post a comment and tell me what you think.

Happy 4th!

I rented K-PAX yesterday on DVD and it was a really great movie untill half way thrue when the disk started skipping untill finally my DVD player couldn't read it anymore.

It was at a really good part too!!!!

I want to find out if he's really an alian or not and now I have to wait untill I take it back to Blockbuster to trade it for one that works right.

The suspence is killing me!!!! LOL

I'm going to go see Mr. Deeds today and it's 3am so I have to get some sleep.

I'll tell ya if it's any good or not allthough I'm a big Adam Sandler fan, so I might be a little buyest. I can allready tell this movie's gonna be halariuse though. I dunno how. I just can. :)

Well. Happy 4th O July everyone!

It's just one of those day's!

I'm bored out of my mind! I'm still waiting for my school work to get here (I gotta call those SOB's soon.) and I don't get a job interveiw untill next week.

Damnit!

I'm tired of waiting!

I mean.... I'm a patient person but, damn!

I need to find something to acupy my mind. I just can't wait around anymore. I try my best to get out there and make something happen, but guess what? I'm stuck here at home again with nothing to do.

I wish I had something to really write about but my mind is blank right now.

Maybee I could try calling my friend M. He's allways getting into something. :)

Yeah I'm gonna go do that.

I'll have something great to write about tomarow.

What can I say.... Damn writer's block!

Special Thanks!

A special thanks gos out today to 40-10 and the rest of the Soapbox user's at WWDN for offering to help me with my avatar.

Gota Go!

Big storm on the way the lightning and thunder is allready here.

I just got back from the mall.

I survived the comute on the bus up and back and didn't even get shot. :)

When I first got to the mall I headed strait for the fye that didn't have anymore application's last time and they didn't this time either so I walked out of there discrunteld and headed for Walden Books.

They wasn't hirering so again I walked out not happy. I walked down to the second floor to B. Daltons (another good book store) and actually got to fill out an aplication.

They wasn't hirering at the moment though which was ok because they where polite about it and cashier there was the first person to look at me and smile today.... Even though that's her job....

After that I walked upstairs again to Software Ext. Again they where not hirering but excepting application's so I decided to just better the odd's with one more app.

As I was walking out of there I looked across to the other side of the mall at a sighn that had cought my atention. It read: Help Wanted.

Ha!

All that time looking around and as I'm about to leave there's a job opening. It was at Spencer Gifts. The service there is terable, (at least the one here) but it just means that I could easily become employe of the month and even get permoted and get a big fat raise. :)

Sometime in between all that I stoped at Mc.Donalds and got me.... Well it's all burger's and frie's there. I wouldn't recomend them unless you're in a big hurry and need an energy boost.

Oh yeah when I went out to the parking lot takeing a smocke break this guy in a black suit comes out of the mall looking all discrunteld, lights a cigerette and starts paceing back and forth like someone really pissed him off. Then he put out the cigerette (not even half way gone) and marches back into the mall.

It was kind of funny, but then I started wondering what he was so messed up about and wonderd if I would be doing the same thing in his shoe's.

Hopefully his boss hasen't mysteriusly vanished....

Anyway I'm back here again. I have an interveiw next week at Spencer Gifts. I'll let ya know if I get the job.

It's 7:50am.

I just woke up from an hoar and a half worth of sleep.

My head will not stop itching.

I'm freezing my ass off because someone left the air conditioner on all night.

When I turned my computer on it wouldn't stop makeing this lowd buzzing sound and I had to turn it off three times before I could get it to shut up.

I hate mourning's!

That's all ok though because I am confident that today is the day I will finally get a job at the mall like I wanted and start saveing up for a car.

To ceep myself modivated I have to ceep something in mind.

It will all be worth it when I'm finally cruising down the road in my shag mobile.

Well.... maybee a nice station wagon?

Anyway I have to get down to the mall today and start filling out aplication's and hopefully I'll get an interveiw for all my touble's.

I'll start at the fye that didn't have any more aplication's left the last time I was there, (gee I wonder what my odd's are there?) and then hit Walden Books and that other book store.

I can't remember the name of that place.

I might even try Game Stop and Hot Topic.

Well I better get ready. I really hope this isn't going to end up like last time I tryed to get a job, but I was 17 then and most store's will not hirer anyone under 18.

Wish me luck.... I'll need it.

Monday, July 01, 2002

I have just noticed that it's 11:23pm and I haven't wrote in my blog today yet.

sorry if I cept anyone waiting.... What am I saying no one visits this lame little blog. :) Or do they?

I was wondering that same question allmost a week ago, so I set up a counter at the bottum of the page to see if anyone hase came here. I can't right now, but the last time I checked there was 17 hits in 5 day's and I onley looked at the page a couple of times to see if everything was ok. I think that's really great considering I'm not linked to any search engines or anything. I have told some of my friends about this but I didn't think I would get even that many hits.

So I would like to take this time to thank everyone who reads this because I do this mostly for you guys and it wouldn't be that much fun if no one read it. I hope you stick with me because I have some great stuff planned for the future. :)
